Wise takes delivery of three MCI J4500 coaches, praises salesmanship

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – Wise Coaches, a growing tour and charter company in Lebanon, Tenn., recently took delivery of three J4500s, the industry’s most popular model. Citing the model’s curb appeal and the personal attention received from his MCI salesman as reasons for his purchase, Wise founder and president Alan Wise acknowledges that his company provides the same high level of quality and service to his customers as he finds with MCI.

“MCI takes care of their customers the way we treat ours,” said Wise. “My MCI salesman (Glen Collins) built a great relationship with me, so I bought a coach. I saw Glen go above and beyond his job expectations not only for me but for other customers, so I bought three more.” Founded in 1998, Wise operates a fleet of 10 coaches, including the four J4500s – the company’s first new-MCI coach purchases.

Two of Wise’s latest J4500s feature a Caterpillar C13 engine and ZF-ASTronic transmission. The other is equipped with a Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine and Allison B500 transmission. All three coaches feature Michelin tires, Alcoa polished aluminum wheels with Durabright finish, and REI video system with six LCD flat-screen monitors.
In addition to turning to MCI for new coaches, Wise taps MCI Financial Services for financing and brings his coaches to MCI’s service center in Lebanon, Tenn., for maintenance and repair.
